Tribute to Sir Jimmy Shand MBE MA - accordionist and Scottish Country Dance band leader, his music, compositions, recordings, awards and his life.

Here is a poem which Jimmy may have identified with as he observed the many weird and wonderful attempts at dancing to his music.

I'll bet he and the boys in the Band had some laughs!

The Shand Band often played for many of the RSCDS dances named in the poem.
